...the civilian spokesman for the Baghdad security plan was kidnapped (guess he didn't have a plan for himself); President Insane and Shitstain Shoots-Guy-In-Face have been lauding the fact that the 'escalation' ('surge' my ass) has been the key to the lowering of violence in Iraq (while not acknowledging that the ceasefire imposed by al Sadr had anything to do with it); and as soon as al Sadr fanned the flames again - oops - violence and fatalities of our soldiers and Marines increased.

Do I have that about right?

The Pentagon is now saying that the recent upswing in violence is more evidence that The Surge™ is successful. :nuke:
