How may would have voted for FDR had they knew that he was wheel-chair bound? That he had his own affair? How many for JFK?

When did we start thinking that it is our right to know where very single pimple is located on a candidate's butt?

When a president wants to keep a secret, and when there is a danger of blackmail by foreign agencies, perhaps this matters. When it is a former prosecutor who made his name by busting exactly the same stories, yes, but only to his constituents. But if something like that is a common knowledge, why is it our business?
