During China's Totalitarian Games this Summer, How Will They Respond to Protests?
This Olympics will be protested heavily, it seems. Over 140 have died in Tibetan violence. Tibet is under lockdown, military-rule.

The Germans are starting to speak of a boycott.

The Chinese have mentioned the Opening Ceremonies may not be televised live.

At the Lighting of the Olympic flame today, protesters disrupted.

How will China handle protesters. We've seen how they stifle dissent of their own, how will they react to foreign dissenters, with the world's eyes on them?

1. That should be interesting...
But I have a theory. I don't think that people from other countries are as courageous as the Chinese in facing prison or even death sentences. In this country, we rebel against Homeland Security, but we follow the rules for fear of being prosecuted. I don't know the nationality of the people who protested today at the Opening Ceremonies, but I can guess that they were Chinese.

5. Thanks for the info.
It will be interesting to see what happens in any event. I imagine they'll be holding the games in heavily secured areas.
