DARPA's new toy

This robot is being funded by DARPA. They've been talking about using things like this in Iraq, although as supply carriers.

1. Holy cr*p!
That's pretty amazing. I had no idea that we were so far along in quadruped robotics. The balance recovery when the guy kicked it, and when it started sliding around on the ice was amazing. And the jumping demo was very advanced as well.

:wow:

7. Triple Holy Crap!

On the ice, recoving it's balance - I've seen deer on the ice, and it looked the same. I swear, the thing *looked* annoyed when the guy kicked it! Can you imagine a pack train of about 10 of these things following a trail in the mountains? It would be, not to put too fine a point on it, spooky.

8. We've developed a super secret stealth version of the same thing...
A recent photo from our Arizona testing grounds:

We are going to make $BILLIONS selling them to the U.S. military.

Best of all they are fueled by GRASS!

We are seeking serious investors here.
