15. I was countin on something from Brittney Spears
or...lessee, isn't it Senator Clinton's turn for a campaign tarnishing revelation to turn up?
So many distraction potentials....

Here's a thought:
DU should hold a pool: "Day of distraction:___________ Person embarrassed by the distraction_________"

If the admin charges a nickle per guess and t-shirts given out to the lucky winners...there should be plenty left over for repairs on the infamous Moderator Hot-Tub! (They've been workin overtime lately imo)

11. That'll moderate somewhat before open, but it's still all bad.
J.P Morgan is buying Bear for $2/share. That's a MAJOR loss of investor equity...and the Fed is complicit.

I believe they've overplayed their hand this time. They've been helping themselves to the trough at our expense forever, but they've become greedier in the last 10-20 years. There used to be an understanding that you can only bleed the mark so much...so they'd live to "contribute" another day. Those days are gone.

They're stripping the carcass now.

...and I have some degree of apprehension what that may mean to the rest of us.
