Bush says: Mission Accomplished. Okay, not yet. He's waiting until we are all screwed even harder before he raises that banner.

1. I already suffer from depression. I don't
know if I can take our country falling into another Depression.

3. Yeah, I take drugs for mine.
This royally pisses off my almost 82 year father. He suffered through one depression and fought to save the US from fascism and here we are, ready to fall apart because of the selfishness of the frat boy and his cronies.

2. I said a few years back we could be at 150$ a barrel by the time
B*sh leaves office. People thought I was nuts.

4. It was running up more slowly at the end of last year. But
right now, with it inching up 2-4 bits each day, yeah, you might have hit the bullseye with your prediction. Unfortunately for the US.

9. It used to be that everyone I mean everyone in the Biz community
denied that inflation makes oil cost more. A few shows discuss it a bit now and admit that is why it is getting more expensive. Ask someone on the street why oil is getting more expensive to them though and they will not have a clue.

Hard thing to stomach for me is that everyone is complacent in that B*sh will simply do nothing to stop it going up. Congress would be smart to have hearings about how our spending ourselves in to such debt in the Iraq war is causing the value of the dollar to go down and our gas to cost more. People need to know this going in to the next election.

6. Diesel At $4.25 A Gallon...
I keep wondering how much longer until trucker start pulling the rigs off the roads...I can't see how the indies are making a go right now.

All the GOOPers look at are their stock prices...as long as their stocks go up, like Exxon and Haliburton, there's no recession...at least in their world. They don't even feel the gas hikes as they see it as taking money from one pocket and throwing it in the other. For those who don't have the stock, tough shit.

7. What happened to the Strategic Oil Reserves
Anybody remember that? The gov't buying and storing up oil for years in case of emergency. Here we've got oil going thru the roof for no damn reason. I think even the threat of using the oil reserves would bring it down.

8. I'm already living on pasta...
I don't know where to get anything cheaper than mac n'cheese. The more we cut down on things, the more expensive other things get. We've eliminated luxuries; now we're working on eliminating necessities. I don't know how many people are in a depression, but we sure are.

10. Some asshat r just got up on the House floor and placed
blame for high oil prices squarely on the Democratic-controlled congress saying that oil has gone from $35 bbl to $110 bbl while Dems have been the majority.
