What the hell is wrong with some people? Why would a man like Elliot Spitzer risk everything by associating with hookers. I don't get it. Honestly, I just don't get it.

There is a real problem for some with an addiction to sex, engaging in risk, destructive behavior in a way that mimics other addictions--i.e., you do self-destructive things but can't help it. I couldn't explain it any other way.
