Kentucky Lawmaker Wants to Make Anonymous Internet Posting Illegal
Kentucky Representative Tim Couch filed a bill this week to make anonymous posting online illegal.

The bill would require anyone who contributes to a website to register their real name, address and e-mail address with that site.

Their full name would be used anytime a comment is posted.

He forgot to consider which control mechanism would be used.

2. Well that will nip all the republicans messing with democratic sites in the bud!
I think the problem is more on the "R" side than the "D" side.

And, I'd love to see what happens to all the "sex" sites if this becomes law!

Do you think he shot himself in the foot?

Is website operator subject to this "law" if they are IN Kentucky? Or are Kentucky residents subject to this if they LIVE there??

Chalk this up as one of the stupidest and most unenforceable law ideas ever.

And maybe we should all post as "Tim Couch".
