Those who can, do.
Those who can't, teach.

Those who can't teach, coach wrestling.

Bush was sent to destroy conservatism, and he's done a good job. That said, I'm not going to miss that establishment lard-ass, Hastert.

They especially hate the fact that the Dem who won is a scientist, and they are in a PANIC.

Let me guess... Bush has been part of the "Liberal agenda" from the start? LOL.

6. Imagine for a moment if Bush were a Democrat....
He'd be considered the liberal anti-Christ. There'd be the best record conservatives could ever hope to run against. Unfortunately, they put him in office...twice. So much for principles...

7. After 6 years of thinking they ruled the world...
They now return to their natural state: bitter social misfits and chronic masturbators.

10. let's put up some more responses, shall we?
To: The_Republican
I hope his district at least liked all the pork he brought in. He sure didn’t help everyone else.

To: The_Republican
Well there’s a nail in that coffin.

To: The_Republican
More mfall-out from Bush’s monumental ineptitude and Dennie Hastert’s regime.
“During his 21 years in Washington, Hastert funneled millions of dollars to the district that stretches from Chicago’s far western suburbs to almost the Mississippi River.”
Apparently his sole achievement but even that seems neglible in the face of Bush’s record.
This is going to be a VERY bad time for us, thanks to Bush and the RINOs like McCain.

To: The_Republican
Republicans were saddled with an unappealing nominee, thanks in part to Denny Hastert’s endorsement of him in the primary. Than the stupid idiot NRCC dumped money they couldn’t afford to spend into losing this race.

To: The_Republican
The shape of things to come...

To: The_Republican
We Republicans need to suck it up and get used to this. November is going to be a massacre. Sorry to be so pessimistic but the handwriting is on the wall. We’ve lost our country. That “new direction” the “media” keeps telling us about is the path to Socialism/Communism.

(i bolded that comment--i found it truly WONDERFUL)

To: The_Republican
It is going to get worse, much worse.
By the time the Democrats are through with the United States, The Nations in Africa will be prosperous by comparsion.
How will they bring this about? When they get the votes they will ratify the Koyto Treaty. And place the United States under the jurisdiction of the World Criminal Gourt.
How are the Democrats coming into power? They are elected by majority vote cast by the American public.

(my note: i can smell the fear)

To: Lurker
Worst GOP Speaker in history. He screwed up elections in PA and I am sure other states. Shame we lost the seat, but they were probably tired of his BS also.

To: The_Republican
Hope other Republicans in Congress are watching.
Not familiar with his situation, but I am not very happy with the GOP right now.
They had control of the Congress, the Pres, and an opportunity to do some good and they fiddle farted around.

To: ZULU

By the time the Democrats are through
Open-checkbook George hasn't helped and neither has his colleagues in the House and Senate. And many of them are also Republicans.
Put the blame where it belongs. The Republicans certainly haven't shone as fiscal conservatives in the last 8 years.

To: Lurker
Hey Denny I hope you enjoyed all those steak dinners on us.

ok. that's enough fun.

11. "By the time the Democrats are through with the United States...
...The Nations in Africa will be prosperous by comparison."

I love it. Already like 8 years of Bush** never happened.

Freeps, the nekid Emperor you voted for twice and defended so vigorously as a "good Christian" for two terms shat on this country and had you believing it was gold. You'll see and feel the results before the GE if you don't already, and you'll be the only ones blaming the incoming Democratic president because you can't "put food on your kids". The rest of America will have none of your delusions about who's to blame. And the misery to come will ensure they don't forget for a long, l-o-n-g time.

One thing we agree on: BushCo and the Repubs who supported them in Congress have destroyed your party. And YOU put them all there.

Congratulations. You didn't only destroy the GOP, you've destroyed this country.

16. Schadenfraude...
No matter how nasty things are getting over in the "Pit"...I sure wouldn't want to be a GOOPer this year. Or should I say a "conservative" as the boooosh regime has turned the label "republican" into a pejorative now...even among the right wing hive. I can't tell who they're gonna hate more this November...a Democrat or Gramps?

As one who is very familiar with this district, this race and the ripple its creating in GOOPland and Freeperville, last night's win was delicious. It was seeing a long-time red district that a year ago was the plantation of one of the worst fatcats in the beltway change transform in a few short weeks into one now represented by a "librul" PROGRESSIVE Democrat. I met Bill Foster at YKos...he worked in getting the netroots, unions and the party in making this suprising and delightful victory happen. It shows what good things can happen when we all work together and that if Democrats can win this district, any contested district this year is very much "in play"...Game On!

The implosion of the repugnican party is well underway and we have a front row seat to its collapse due to its own arrogance and ignorance. Our job is to help the process along and then watch the Freepers and wingnuts screetch and blame themselves into political oblivion.

Yep...some of them know what's coming, but the majority are still in denial and are hiding in their parallel universe...meanwhile the walls of the real world collapse on them. This is just one victory, but a big one...one that sets a tone and sends a message. The job of Democrats across the country now is to deliver it to as many GOOPers as we can and have on hell of a party on election night. We sure as hell deserve it!

19. Is this wrong of me?
I really and truly want the Repubs to feel the sorrow, rage and general shittiness that we've been feeling since the stolen election in 2000. I didn't think I was the kind of person who wanted revenge, but in this case, I do.
