1. Watched in the U.K.
and in Ireland: http://news.sky.com/skynews/uselection (warning - owned by Murdoch)
In print: Irish Independent newspaper carries bits and pieces and I get the International Herald Tribune when I can (owned by the NYT, though).

The Guardian (tend left)
The Independent
The Times (Thatcher conservatives)

Whether you agree with them or not, they're all well written, with a lot more depth than our papers.

But there are also knuckle-dragging papers like

The Telegraph
The Mirror
The Sun

If you see an article from one of these, think daily "National Enquirer."

3. The Economist
Covers American politics a little with pretty much every issue. You can tell by the name what sort of perspective they bring. But peerless coverage of world events. Just hold your nose in the capitalist bits ;)
