The new republican strategy: Bush & Cheney don't exist.
Anybody else noticed that, if the MSM is to be believed, Bush and Cheney seem to have dropped off the face of the earth?

A Google news search for "Dick Cheney" got far more hits comparing Whitewater and the Rezko flap than to any stories AT ALL covering Cheney himself.

Even The Decider himself seems to be drawing very little coverage in the U.S. press, and 99.9% of it relates to arcane foreign policy stuff that hardly anybody reads.

3. Better say it loud and often
It sounds to me like the MSM is ready to forgive and forget.

2. Bush is certainly still out there making an ass of himself..
But Cheney is probably already in his new home in Dubai.

6. I was gonna say that Bush seems to be making statements to the news media on a regular basis
that set new standards for stupidity, even for him.

4. If only that were true -- let's face it, R's live in a fantasy world.

5. Well, Cheney has to withdraw from public view for a while every so often
in order to recharge his batteries. I mean really, if you knew what went on during this ritual, you would be scarred for life.

Also, I think once he realized he wouldn't get to unleash holy hell on Iran in the time that's left, he pretty much checked out of the job. He's just marking time until 11:00 on January 19th, when Bush will quickly issue a blanket pardon to all members of his administration, resign and let Cheney take over to pardon himself.
