Is Contessa Brewer "in the doghouse"?
She has been on MSNBC twice in the past 45 min... Both times with a sour puss, both times doing animal stories something about the relocation of some pandas and then an escaped Macaque monkey in Ottawa. . . .

just thought it odd

1. If you watch them regularly,
someone like Brewer, or Jansen, or Nowotny will anchor for an hour, then they'll do the news updates in another hour, and maybe come back for another hour of anchoring later.

What you saw were the news updates.

Now, what on Earth is Republican Operative, Tucker Carlson, doing hosting an hour of "news"?

Anybody have current contact information for MSNBC?

Thanks.

2. On days on which primaries/caucuses are held, MSNBC calls in
guys like Carlson, David Gregory even, Dan Abrams to preside over a block of time. Guess it makes things seem that much more important than if the girls are doing it.

3. But Gregory is a reporter, and Dan Abrams isn't a
political operative.

Tucker Carlson is.

7. She stood up to Don sL-IMUS when doing so wasn't cool
Edited on Tue Mar-04-08 05:49 PM by UTUSN
They were trying her out as one more female pinata for him to degrade, and she wouldn't put up with it. I forget what his slur was, but even G.E.RUSSERT chewed him out the next day, telling him to apologize, which he didn't. This was long before his female basketball caper. So then Contessa was OFF the sL-IMUS circus and was on the regular MSRNC line-up.

When MSRNC first started, they had a smart, fast daytime show with Mika, Ashley BANFIELD who later went to Afghanistan, and another woman. 9-11 knocked them off the air. Now Mika is SCARdoodle's punching bag and BANFIELD is over at Court/Tru t.v. BANFIELD was also a heroine for standing up to Savage WIENER, whom called her a slut.

MSRNC started off O.K., then was blown off its tracks.
