Colombia says Venezuela's Chavez helped in genocide
Colombia said on Tuesday it will bring charges of supporting genocide against Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, alleging that he helped leftist rebels commit mass murders in Colombia.

i really hafta urge and i beg that people be careful when coming to the rally calls of other 'leftist' organisations outside the united states. i think you will find they have different views on things that american leftist do. they are not the same ideaology completely. liberalism changes slightly depending on where you are located.

5. International Laws
Really?!? Does anyone tell Bush how to run this war? How about in the 50s & 60s when they were treating Blacks as lesser than humans with water hoses and dogs chasing?
I feel that all Presidents have their share of malfeasance but we can't critical judge someone when our President is doing the same thing to the Iraqis.
I agree with you, our mass murdering just is not reported accurately.

7. Now who planted that idea? Folks, I think these guys are perfect recyclers.
Not of the green kind. The steps to get what they want. They play the same tapes over and over. Just about to start the Vanity Fair article excerpts on U.S. intervention and manipulation of Palestinians - old Iran-Contra experts, Abrams and Rice pulling an Iran-Contra. Yestgerday it was a replay of faking documents - burping faked documents - this time to make a case against Iran. Niger is long dead and they seem to be getting away with another.

Sometimes, I don't think they have read enough espionage books or watch enough movies. They are really not very inventive.

They are always believing that they can get their bought and paid for friends to overthrow someone.

Dull reading. Too bad it involves the little people paying for it - death, disabilities, debt, depression, dire straits.

And we all know the right wing paramilitary organizations linked with the current government are bloodless compared to FARC. :sarcasm:

It's hot air and nothing more. If Colombia's government wants to bring formal charges, they'd find that their own asses would soon be investigated by the Hague as well.

I'm sure the evidence for this is buried along with Saddam's WMDs.

12. Chavez calling to remove the FARC from the list of terrorist organizations
And who paid tribute and a moment of silence "to a good revolutionary, who was Raúl Reyes" is very telling.

I won't take Colombia's charges at face value but it is amazing that FARC criminals have the luxury to cross into Venezuela and Ecuador for refuge. Funny that Chavez who was so outraged by Colombia's operation in Ecuador can't cooperate or offer a hand to help get rid of these thugs who cross the border in to Venezuela.
