What we probably agree upon:

Bush is the worst president ever. He has for the most part RUINED and DESTROYED our reputations and squandered our treasure on nothing worth anything.

No Republican can or will EVER help our nation in the way it needs to be helped; by diverting funds towards what we need here in our country, so we can be healthy, and be fed when whe are hungry, and have heating and warm places to sleep.

What we probably disagree upon, but these are points I think are worth making:

It is quite obvious that our natural resources are running out.

There's no point now in blaming anyone else for the disaster we are facing in the future. We just need to prepare.

Prepare, prepare, prepare.

This is not a time to be lavishing gifts upon ourselves our arguing to government that we are entitled to very much, since we are running out of the things we need.

3. There are always a few here that think that resources are limitless
and that it's all a matter of distribution (which I think is a GOP talking point). They believe that we could and perhaps should have ten times the population we have now.

Others have said that the earth will go on without us (and the millions of other species we will exterminate while we take all that's left of the earth), so it doesn't really matter.

Leading scientists across the globe all agree; resources ARE running out very, very quickly. Bold plans are required by our leaders for action on climate change and species/ habitat loss NOW or else there will be little future awaiting any of us.

4. Some resources are running out.
Others are not.

And many of the things we're running out of here can be found in abundance in our local planetary neighborhood. The question is whether we can get our shit together enough to do something about that fact before we fuck ourselves royal. I like to think we can and will because I am not of the opinion that our existence is a mere accident, though I'm not really sure what our purpose actually is.

I know it's fashionable in some circles to think that we're doomed, and that we deserve to be, but I pretty much respond to such charges the same way I respond to Fundies who are waiting for the End of Days.

We'll see.

5. Entiltled is an anti-liberal term. Nix that and we're good.
"No Republican can or will EVER help our nation"
