According to the above article, she was a prescription drug addict. She also is the heiress to one of the largest distributors of Budweiser in the world, the Hensley company.

But I'm closely looking at all the women who look like Cindy, to show my surgeon what I DON'T want the results to be.

I'm sure you're beautiful and "refreshed" looking in a NATURAL way.

EDIT: Don't you agree she looks a little too unreal?

28. Years ago I went to a plastic surgeon and asked about an eyebrow lift
(God knows why - sure didn't need it) and he said --

You don't want that - you'll have that constantly surprised look like Nancy Reagan!

And I heard a comedian say "What kind of "doctor" was Nancy Reagan's father, anyway -- a taxidermist?"

And it's gotten so much worse since then it's truly frightening.

Glad you and your plastic surgeon are a couple of the SMART ones! :toast:

Edited on Tue Feb-19-08 10:46 PM by sweets
i asked my surgeon to do a brow lift. he said "you don't need it". i waited a few more years and then he said "okay". i said "while you're there, can you tighten up my face a bit"? he said "yes" and did. another nice job.

it's been 8 or 9 years since then and i'm still looking good. hubby said the other day "you must have a portrait somewhere that's aging, because you're not".

i fear i'll get up one morning and i'll have aged 10 years.

have you checked out "thermage"?

http://www.cosmeticsurgery.com/research/cosmetic-surgery/Thermage/

it can be done by a cosmetic dermatologist too. the dermatologists charge less than plastic surgeons.

moderation. you want to be able to move your face and show some expression.

i don't understand why so many women take things to such an extreme.

When you are doing certain types of drugs, your pupils become mere pinpoints, thus the term.

18. It's not permanent.
I saw some pictures of her today and it is very obvious that she is doing either opiates or some derivatives or synthetics.

But, then again, blue-gray eyes such as hers are usually sensitive to sunlight.

But I would bet the farm that she is having a problem.

By the way, I actually like Cindy McCain more than I do any of the candidates. But she should come clean, set the record straight.

Here is something I wrote on this last night:

14. Ah yes.. the trophy wife.. (a little history)
http://www.usvetdsp.com/mcaindiv.htm

Before John McCain's tour of duty in Vietnam, he married Carol Shepp, a model from Philadelphia. On his 23rd bombing mission over North Vietnam in 1967, McCain was shot down and captured.
While he was imprisoned, Carol was in an auto wreck (1969), thrown through her car's windshield and left seriously injured. Despite her injures, she refused to allow her POW husband to be notified about her condition, fearing that such news would not be good for him while he was being held prisoner.

When McCain returned to the United States in 1973 after more than five years as a prisoner of war, he found his wife was a different person. The accident "left her 4 inches shorter and on crutches, and she had gained a good deal of weight."

While Executive Officer and later as Squadron Commander McCain used his authority to arrange frequent flights that allowed him to carouse with subordinates and "engage in extra-marital affairs." Such behavior was a violation of the Uniform Code of Military Justice rules against adultery and fraternization with subordinates..

Timberg wrote, "Off duty, usually on routine cross-country flights to Yuma and El Centro, John started carousing and running around with women. To make matters worse, some of the women with whom he was linked by rumor were subordinates . . . At the time the rumors were so widespread that, true or not, they became part of McCain's persona, impossible not to take note of."

In 1979 at a military reception in Honolulu, McCain met Cindy Hensley, an attractive 25-year-old woman from a very wealthy politically-connected Arizona family. Cindy's father, Jim, founded the Hensley and Company, the nation's third-largest Anheuser-Busch distributor.

While still married to Carol, McCain began an adulterous relationship with Cindy. He married Cindy in May 1980 -- just a month after dumping Carol and securing a divorce. The newlyweds honeymooned in Hawaii.

McCain followed his young, millionairess wife back to Arizona where her father helped catapult McCain into politics,

Compare how even we on this board think of Hillary and how Cindy seems to be beyond reproach.

There's little difference between them, really.

25. I do not fault her
She is who she is -- a bit troubled (drug use) and dealing with a large and varied family AND a crazy husband.

A beauty queen who probably has more substance than her looks suggest -- BUT is pancaked to the hilt trying to look like she did when she nabbed the handsome war hero.

She is in the wrong place with the wrong man at the wrong time.
