So is Bin Laden dead or not?
If so, why haven't we been told? If not, why not, and where is he?

30. LOL! McCain will follow Bin Ladin to the Gates of Hell (quote Wall street Journal)
John McCain says in almost every stump speech that he knows how to capture Osama bin Laden and that he’d follow the al Qaeda leader to the “Gates of Hell.”

McCain
So Washington Wire was wondering, what does McCain know that President Bush and the Pentagon don’t about how to sweep up America’s most elusive enemy.

“One thing I will not do is telegraph my punches. Osama bin Laden will be the last to know,” he said today while riding on the back of his bus between Florida events. In other words: he’s not telling. Why not share his strategy with the current occupant of the White House? “Because I have my own ideas and it would require implementation of certain policies and procedures that only as the president of the United States can be taken.”

That response, of course, echoes Richard Nixon’s campaign promise in 1968 to stop the Vietnam War. Nixon also declined to say what his plan was. America’s involvement in the Vietnam war continued until 1973.

8. it doesn't matter
OBL represented radical Islam, which was so radical it defied the genius of Clauswitz, Machieveli, Sun Tzu and the bible ('if your enemy approaches with 20k men when you only have 10k, then be sure you sue for peace while he's still in his camp') but as geobbels said, the big lie repeated often enough in the news becomes the truth. The gopigs can kidnap a lookalike to obl, drug him charley, and get him to proclaim jihad against planet earth whoever, and we all swept up like dust bunnies. The pigmedia is a goddam liar- they murdered a million people in a defenseless 3rd world country, and they lie constantly, because the truth would get them hanged. That's all anyone needs to know about Osama..

17. The Black Hair
Edited on Mon Feb-18-08 01:57 AM by Baby Snooks
Those recent videos convinced some that he is not only still alive but following Islamic tradition by dying his hair and beard as a symbol to appear young as a call for worldwide jihad. It is something no one would have done if they were making fake videos with a fake Osama bin Laden because it is something no one would have thought of. It took everyone by surprise. Until Islamic scholars realized the symbolism.

It took years to plan 9/11. It has taken years to plan whatever is coming. And most believe something is coming.

The reality of 9/11 is he knows the Bush Administration knew of the plans. Any complicity in the matter from that point has no bearing.Any complicity was not complicity with Osama bin Laden. The reality of 9/11 is it was not meant to be just four planes. The only thing that went right that day is the FAA quickly grounded planes and had planes in the air alerted and diverted and the air space was shut down in this country very quickly. Except for a flight out of Logan Airport that evening according the late Pierre Salinger. A flight whisking the bin Laden family off to London. Including two of the sons-in-law who may have been involved with both the planning by Osama bin Laden and acted in complicity with the Bush Administration as it ensured the hijackings took place. I believe and always will believe, as do many others, that they knew about the hijackings. They just simply didn't know they intended to fly them into buildings. They wanted to play cowboy and rescue everyone on the tarmac. And they declare their little war on terrorism because it would allow them to declare war on Afghanistan and Iraq. Not because of terrorism but because of oil and a network of pipelines, including one Enron was to build, to allow them to control the bulk of the oil in the Middle East. The bin Ladens knew too much. So they were whisked away.

Whatever he has planned has probably been planned in such a way that no one will know. Until it happens.

21. nothing can explain the preordained media actions but 'inside job'
bush farts and bush puke and the bush nose picking antics are just sideshow- we are the target audience (the darkies can go to hell fixnews says) in this silly drama...power isn't theoretical. Osama aint got the power to buy a newspaper, or check out the kids at the YMCA pool (which bush has) in ny city...there's no mystery to hushtory. JFK was murdered publicly by men who despise the people who JFK represented but THAT necessarily was kept secret, sorta, because mr pig knows we'll kill him. It's that power that all this wot/911 bushit is concerned with, harnassing it to an elephant rawther then a donkay.
example: bush put through a $3 trillion budget last week, but pigmedia hohummed it, very few even know of it. probably because the average citizen considers bush a criminal, and trust him less then Russia's Putin...

27. It does to me.
The prospect of capturing him and bringing him to justice, and then getting the hell out of there, was the only reason I supported Canadian troops going to Afghanistan. Minus that, there is no justification for our being there. This is especially true when your president has all but given up on catching Bin Laden. If the US isn't going to bother, why should we?

32. Heck, I'm all for pulling them all out now.
Considering that OBL was working for the CIA during the Russian Afghan war, to me, I have always believed that they would never ever find or kill him. He's worth more alive in propaganda use then he is dead.

Also, I just finished reading a book regarding the CIA ops in Afghanistan during that time. Those "caves" that moron* loves to spout off about? Those "caves" a bit more elaborate, They are a reinforced concrete maze of tunnels built by us, the US.

As long as mush man is in power in pakistan and the saudi's continue their falcon hunting in Waziristan, nothing will change and OBL will never ever be captured.

These "wars" are nothing but a grand money making scheme. Iraq: largest money laundering operation in history. Who in their right minds sends 1 billion dollars in untraceable bills on a shipping pallet with no accounting? crooks, that's who.

Read up on Balochistan in afghanistan, it just happens to be very OIL RICH.

http://governmentofbalochistan.blogspot.com/2006/04/economic-potential-of-balochistan_24.html

Also look into Baku oil fields and how chaney has long been involved with getting a pipeline there. And it's no mistake that Karzai is a former Unical exec.

http://www.crescentlife.com/heal%20the%20world/afghanistan_and_oil.htm

http://www.ringnebula.com/Oil/Timeline.htm

This is why I say, it really doesn't matter at this point.

33. Fox News: "Bin Laden Already Dead"
Fox News: "Bin Laden Already Dead"

Wednesday, December 26, 2001

Usama bin Laden has died a peaceful death due to an untreated lung complication, the Pakistan Observer reported, citing a Taliban leader who allegedly attended the funeral of the Al Qaeda leader.

"The Coalition troops are engaged in a mad search operation but they would never be able to fulfill their cherished goal of getting Usama alive or dead," the source said.

Bin Laden, according to the source, was suffering from a serious lung complication and succumbed to the disease in mid-December, in the vicinity of the Tora Bora mountains. The source claimed that bin Laden was laid to rest honorably in his last abode and his grave was made as per his Wahabi belief.

The Death of bin Ladenism

Published: July 11, 2002
Osama bin Laden is dead. The news first came from sources in Afghanistan and Pakistan almost six months ago: the fugitive died in December and was buried in the mountains of southeast Afghanistan. Pakistan's president, Pervez Musharraf, echoed the information. The remnants of Osama's gang, however, have mostly stayed silent, either to keep Osama's ghost alive or because they have no means of communication.

With an ego the size of Mount Everest, Osama bin Laden would not have, could not have, remained silent for so long if he were still alive. He always liked to take credit even for things he had nothing to do with. Would he remain silent for nine months and not trumpet his own survival?

Even if he is still in the world, bin Ladenism has left for good. Mr. bin Laden was the public face of a brand of politics that committed suicide in New York and Washington on Sept. 11, 2001, killing thousands of innocent people in the process.

What were the key elements of that politics?

The first was a cynical misinterpretation of Islam that began decades ago with such anti-Western ideologues as Maulana Maudoodi of Pakistan and Sayyid Qutb of Egypt. Although Mr. Maudoodi and Mr. Qutb were not serious thinkers, they could at least offer a coherent ideology based on a narrow reading of Islamic texts. Their ideas about Western barbarism and Muslim revival, distilled down to bin Ladenism, became mere slogans designed to incite zealots to murder.
