2. It would be suicide for either campaign in the GE. There are real reasons they can't do that.

Clinton says Obama isn't experienced enough, So why would you pick a VP you know isn't ready if need arises?

Obama says we need a new direction, a change. Why pick the antithesis of change?

In the spirit of suicide, they should accept?

Perhaps you believe that candidates can say anything today and then do the opposite tomorrow. Sorry they can't. Unless they want to completely undercut their own message.
