If this congress couldn't find the stones to prohibit retroactive immunity for telecoms then there is NO WAY IN HELL they will ever vote to allow impeachment proceedings. No matter what comes to light. Pelosi, Reid and Company have made it painfully clear that: 1) they are republicans in democrat clothing since they basically flipped off almost 60% of this country who were against telecom immunity (according to latest polls on the subject) 2) they are firmly and squarely in bed with corporate America and 3) they are far more concerned with staying in power than they are representing American citizens or American concerns.

I think all progressives on this and other boards should make it our business when these corporate sluts are up for reelection to support whatever new Democratic candidates appear on the horizon to run against them. And do our best to demolish the DLC. LET’S TAKE BACK OUR COUNTRY: GET RID OF THEM ALL!

And why should anyone follow the laws if those at the top ignore them? I fell so stupid when I buy a license tag or pay my taxes on time. Why do I jump through artificial hoops when so many ignore the most important laws? I feel strongly that if these people are not impeached we can write off the remnants of America. Foolish people were willing to impeach for a *lowjob and yet are willing to ignore what is happening to our Constitution and laws today. They deserve the world they get. The rest of us...not so much.
