I was just wondering. Remember? He said that his sons were busy serving their country by working on their dad's campaign? Well, since he's dropped out, now I guess they're free to go ahead and enlist and head out to Iraq.

if Mitt is so gung-ho for this war, and so hell-bent on preserving his view his view of "family values", then why haven't those values of patriotism and service to one's country (and not to Dad's political campaign) been absorbed by his FIVE sons? I only have one son, a Marine, raised by liberal parents. And he has three tours to Iraq. So, like you, I'm wondering. Now that Mitt's FIVE sons (all of military service age) have completed their service to Dad, what about their service to our country? Maybe Mitt's rhetoric at home got as much traction as it did with the electorate. Americans didn't pay attention and neither have has sons.
I think the Romney family values are all about the money. Fine. Unless you're running your campaign on war, glorious war.

How can you be a healthy young man, pro-war, even assist the campaign of your pro-war father, and never join up yourself? That's both moral and physical cowardice. I really don't understand how a man like that can believe this is a "fight for our existence" but never feel the need to actually pitch in.
