Jesse Jackson caught speechless on Lou Dobbs show
Jesse is talking about Bush's stimulus plan and he says all it does is give people money to go out and buy Chinese products. Jesse says to help the economy you need to rebuild bridges in Minnesota and levees in New Orleans. Lou Dobbes ask him, since you support Barack Obama why isn't he talking like that? Lou Dobbs did point out Hillary and John McCain aren't either.

1. I was watching at first but Lou was so abrasive, I turned it off...

Even though I agree with him on some issues, his delivery is getting worse and worse imo.

2. Is it Jesse Jackson Jr. or Sr.?
Jr. supports Obama whereas Sr.'s been rather critical of him. I would like to know if Sr. supports Obama as well.

Thanks.

4. Well, Lou Dobbs is probably gonna be Ambassador toe either China or Mexico if McCain gets in..
If we want diplomacy, it'll have to be a Democrat...

7. It was Jesse Jackson Sr., when Dobbs said
he supported Obama he didn't deny it. Really I wasn't even being political, that seemed to me as a perfectly legitimate question why doesn't any of them talk about rebuilding infrastructure. All of the politicians argue about the so-called stimulus plan, the Democrats want to give money to just about everyone and the Republicans want more tax cuts for business. Really in my opinion neither one will make a dimes worth of difference in the economy, basically they are just trying to score political points having a pissing contest to see how much more debt the can create for votes. If any of them really want to do something for the economy put money into the infrastructure here instead of in Iraq. Within 10 miles of where I live we have 3 old bridges that are literally falling into the Ohio river and a tunnel on I-70 that is falling in and we can't even get the money to dismantle the bridges or fix the tunnel. Take a town like Pittsburgh they have dozens of bridges in need of repair and it's the same throughout the US.

9. Actually, Obama does say that (about the bridges and levees)
I'm not saying he's saying that the stimulus plan is useless (some people will pay off bills or use it for gas or food), but he mentions rebuilding the infrastructure in all his recent speeches.

It's a prime point in the overview to both his economic and fiscal plans on his own website http://www.barackobama.com/issues/
