I was shocked to hear this on the news. They say they found two more bodies today & a wheelchair bound child is still missing. I doubt there are 200 actually deceased but there will be more bodies found in the coming days. I am hopeful that most just haven't checked in with anybody yet. I was reading the stories from the Nashville paper & it is so sad. A father finding his sons body, a baby being ripped from his mothers arms only to be found alive in the mud of a field & his mother found dead nearby. I would fare no better than these people in a storm. I really need to build a storm shelter considering we get at least one tornado a year here.
Sorry for my rambling but where are these people?

1. Some are probably barely clinging to life under rubble
others are dead under rubble, and probably more than a few are wandering aimlessly around in shock, trying to take it all in and not realizing their families are frantic about them.

2. A child who uses a wheelchair is still missing
the phrase "wheelchair-bound" has been placed in the archives, alongside "Negro", "Oriental", etc.

End PC lesson, begin  .

5. It's awful, isn't it?
I noticed in a weather report that it was 29 in Jackson this morning, and I thought about people who might still be trapped and those who've lost their homes.

I'm going to hope that the missing are safe somewhere, with relatives or something, and they're still so shocked that they don't realize that they're on a list of missing people.
