lol - a great short bio of Candy Crowley
Candy Crowley works for CNN (based out of the CNN Washington D.C. bureau) as a political news correspondent. She specializes in Presidential, Gubernatorial, and Senate elections. She was the backup host for Inside Politics.

She is a strong supporter of the Republican party and even cried on air when Al Gore seemed to have won the 2000 Presidential election.

(By the way, I just learned she grew up in Missouri and I'm trying to find out exactly where in MO she grew up. She persisted in calling it "Missour-ah" this afternoon with a big beam on her moon face, as though this made her cool. I'd bet my Pomeranian that she's actually from Missouri and not Missourah)

3. Per Wiki: Candy Alt Crowley (b. 26 December 1952 in Michigan,
raised in Saint Louis, Missouri.

By the way, my parents were both born and raised in Missouri, called it "Missourah", yet my sister and I always called it Missouri, (and always gave my Mom grief for her "ah" pronunciation) though we likewise spent our early years there.

I think it is more generational, than anything else...

7. I remember Christmas 1952
I was 10 years old at the time.

Somehow, I felt as though the world had been given a special gift that (the day after) day.

Sure enough, a neighbor cocker spaniel had deposited...

Never mind.

4. Generally speaking, folks from the eastern part of Missori say "Missouree"
and folks from the western part say "Missourah." I just looked up her bio and it said she was raised in St. Louis, so she should be a "Missouree" Missourian. Maybe she's trying to sound "to home."
BTW, I knew her brother, who is tall and skinny if you can believe it.
