mccain has made no bones about it. We will NEVER leave Iraq under his administration

mccain has also said he would require mandatory 2 year service to the country. He doesn't call it a draft, but it is the same thing

I won't go into mccain's voting record it stands on their own, but he agreed with the south dakota legislation to ban abortions, EVEN IF THE LIFE OF THE MOTHER WAS IN JEPORDY

WHOEVER are nominees are, they had better expose that, or the public WILL BE FOOLED

3. I agree
You hear Republican's complain he's so liberal he should be a Democrat. I keep trying to find an issue he's liberal on.

5. I think much of that is because of his position on torture, and because he gives the impression
that he is willing to "compromise" with the Democrats

The truth is as you said, there is nothing liberal about him. In fact, I would argue that he isn't even a "true conservative", like goldwater, but one of the newer conservatives who believe in endless war

9. yes
McCain is well old. He belongs to the old republican guard that Cheney and the Neocons tried hard to remove from power. McCain is use to a time when the Democrats were the majority in Congress and it was naturally thought Congress should actually function and compromises were a natural part of the legislative process. I think judging by how Cheney has run the Republican majority and now the Republican minority, he doesn't agree with this. McCain has been attacked for so long by his own party, because of his party leaders policy of trying to remove the old Republican guard and replace them with mindless sheep. Oddly enough McCain turns out to play sheep just as well as most of the rest of the "new" Republicans.

4. That's why he's going to win: the media packaging him as if he were a moderate.
They know Bush is unpopular, so they have to find a new way to package their boy.

By the way, Matthews' reaction when it was announced that McCain had won Florida was actionable. He should have been suspended or fired for that.

8. Mankind will never survive 8 years with ANY of the Republicans in office.
I don't mean that 8 years of a Republican presidency will kill us eventually.

I mean that ANY of the Republican presidents will kill us all dead by the time they're supposed to leave office.

Where we see the end of mankind, they all see The Rapture.

10. in the land of the stupid he will be bought as a moderate
and then they will ask "duh, what happened?"---and why was there no legitimate democratic contender? because the democratic establishment is a fraud and the media is corrupt. The good news is rumors of jeb in the mccain administration are beginning to circulate. Land of the stupid.
