It does not matter whom the GOP chooses
so, whether it is McCain or Romney or Huckabee - why all the speculation and worry?

If democrats want to take the white house, all they have to do is point out George W. Bush's record - the real one, not the fantasy version. And most Americans see and feel the pain of his leadership. Don't concern yourself with what they will say. Truth is in ACTIONS, not words. Bush' ACTIONS speak far clearer than words ever did. They have had years of power - at one point holding all three houses.....and the result is what you have right now. There are very few americans who are happy with the status quo.

The biggest problem with democrats is their enabling positions that allowed George to get away with all the things he clearly should of been incapable of doing.

Ignore them. Focus on your job, and what you would do to make the nation a better, safer place to exist. Ignore them. I wouldn't reach across the isle in a bid of non partisanship. I would ignore them. Ignore them.

1. Thats the way to get a dem elected
Blame bush's presidency on "enabling" democrats. Brilliant!
Maybe while your at it you could lay a little blame on some republics??
You know, like the same ones that are running for president?
Just a suggestion.

3. I know you would not like to hear such a thing
But the truth is in actions - not words. The GOP came up with the horrific ideas - and the dems failed to stop them.....and many times voted for those bills and policies that were clearly against their ideals - why? Keep you powder dry? Wait and allow the gop to drown in their own inadequacy?
Either way - the end result is that dems ended up voting for the iraq war - and continue to fund it.
Drop issues that Bush vetoes - even though those issues were clearly in the best interest for the majority of americans.

Why did they do this? To leverage a more successful election campaign? You know there is a reason why the american public is so skeptical of Congress in terms of approval. Don't be blind to this weakness. It is important to address going forward.

2. It MATTERS who the GOP chooses! As we should have learned over the last TWO elections,
you can NEVER BE SURE! I would never vote for a Pub, but my preference would be McCain. YES, it's a choice between two bad, but I REALLY don't want Mittens! He's arrogant, egotistic, and made all of his $$ through Pump & Dump corp. buyouts!

4. Exactly Democrats should run against the GOP and not whoever gets the nomination
Republicans have had control for over a Decade now. They told us they knew best how to govern. The proof is in the pudding. They couldn't run an outhouse let alone the US government. Republicans have screwed the pooch so to speak and all the Democrats have to do is bring the facts to america's attention..and they will...
