What would happen if ... (a hypothetical)
Suppose it's late October and the presidential nominees have long been selected and the swiftboating is in full swing, the ballots have all been printed and November is only a few short weeks away. And then one of the candidates becomes incapacitated either through death or medical trauma or some kind of accident and is unable to fullfill their duties as president. What happens next?

Be careful not to post this on craigslist, lest it be misunderstood. :-)

4. Better yet, suppose...
it's late October and the presidential nominees have long been selected and the swiftboating is in full swing, the ballots have all been printed and November is only a few short weeks away. And then there's another "terror attack" and George Bush orders marshal law and remains president?

17. Thanks for the catch babes...oops, :) that'll teach me not
to type at the same time I'm YAKKING on the phone. After work ends for the day, my multi-tasking skills go all to hell. lol

I'd rather it be a Marshall plan than a marshal plan or even a martial plan.

6. But that's the thing,
do you still vote for a dead guy, or a guy in a coma? The reason I ask is I don't trust bushy in any way shape or form and I believe he's looking for any way to stay beyond his legal (as if that meant anything to him) term.

8. I don't think that would happen.
But when they first came up with this whole Constitution thing, the second-place candidate became the vice president. They figured the guy who came in second should get something.

14. Yes, there's that and
there's the age factor of the probable pug candidate. Do the elections go on regardless, or can they be cancelled till a later date? You just know chimpy and deadeye have this all researched already and have plan A, or B, and/or C ready to go. Just in case.:evilfrown:

15. They politicize the funeral and then steal the election from the replacement candidate
At least that's how it played out in Minnesota when Senator Wellstone met his untimely demise.
