2. Well it's finally happened.
The flag is embarrassed and ashamed and trying to hide in a corner of your neighbor's backyard. I've been waiting for something like this to happen!

20. You're welcome.
I can visualize the poor depressed flag slinking into a corner, trying to make itself smaller, sighing alot. Hopefully we can make it feel better someday. :patriot:

10. ......naw. The raccoons will take it in the shorts after the snoopers
come up with the real poop. Of course they may have to water-board a few animals to get to the truth. J. Edgar Hoover would have had this case Wrapped up in a NY second.

Them goddamn radical islamic extremest.

5. It's not supposed to touch the ground. I don't know what happens when it does.
Is it desecrated now?

17. That checks out with this info, also.
My flag touched the ground. Do I need to destroy it?
No. You should, of course, try to avoid having the flag touch the ground. But if it does, you should correct the situation immediately. If the flag has been dirtied, you should clean it by hand with a mild soap solution and dry it well before returning it to use.

9. Once it touches the ground ...
the flag should be destroyed.

This is done by burying or burning it.

Cheers

13. Right you are. Ironically, a flag that's not supposed to be burnt or touched ground,
once it touches the ground, you're supposed to burn it and bury it in the ground. Go figure.

15. If the flag touches the ground, the Earth reverses its rotation,
stars fall from the sky, Baby Jesus weeps, and Lee Mercer becomes president.

18. Do you have a digital camera? If so, can you please
get a picture and post it.

I have flown the flag upside down but I'm not sure how I feel about it touching the ground.
