He could pull off that massive ego stuff without people breaking into laughter.

which attacked the dissenters with not only physical assault, but also a radio propagandist ...

and also encouraged children to wear uniforms ...

5. Both had astonishing propaganda operations/apparatus
Bushy may not have come off so ridiculous publicly had he been able to tap into his inner authoritarian like Hitler and really rev up the hatred - and the masses - during his speeches. His handlers were always aware that those messages to the cadre had to be subdued by comparison. Mark Crispin Miller makes a similar point in a few of his books: Bush only fumbles his words when he's required to speak on matters/issues he doesn't care about, but his delivery and zeal piques when he's in militant/authoritarian mode.

6. Actually, I've noticed that bush tends to fumble his words mostly
when he actually has to think before he talks ... or when confronted by a question from someone other than his lapdog "reporter" friends ... remember, he barely had any Q&A "press conferences" for the longest time.

7. Links to Mark Crispin Miller
His books Cruel & Unusual: Bush/Cheney's NWO, and Fooled Again, contain outlined examples of what I alluded to.

You can run a Google search also for examples.
