MSNBC: "Senate hinting it might throw MONKEY WRENCH into works"
Edited on Tue Jan-29-08 04:23 PM by krkaufman
Check the caption. Passing an alternative stimulus bill would be "throwing a monkey wrench into the works"? Really?

I had to double-check that I had the TV tuned to MSNBC and not Fox Noise.

(And this only compounded the pain I felt, hearing Pelosi telling the Senate to pass the stimulus bill quickly, echoing the Bush talking point.)

I don't know what the Senate might put in its own version of a stimulus bill, but it's safe to say that the House hasn't created the first-ever perfect bill.

1. They should throw a whole tool box of wrenches into this stupid show.
It is a big chunk of change to add to our debt for a one day bump.

Fucking ridiculous.

5. And whether there will even be a bump is arguable ...
... given our personal debt load and how few products we actually manufacture within this country any more. I think the old rules, premises, for how a "stimulus" package can be expected to affect the economy need a serious review, given the outsourcing of so many jobs and insane growth of personal debt.
