1. Win Elections...Plain And Simple

These people only see power...politics as bloodsport. It's not issues and lives, but winners and losers. It's either having the power or the access to it that is the ambrosia of the beltway and what drives "conventional wisdom". For 20 years, repugnicans won elections and gained power, with it came the corporate media who saw them as their meal tickets. The more Democrats elected, the more the chattering class of village idiots will see the new dynamic and gravitate toward it. In many ways it's already started...a byproduct of the '06 elections. We see/hear more Progressive voices now than we did...but still not enough. But I suspect should the GOOP lose big this November, we'll see a whole different dynamic in the corporate media...and they continue to support their old GOOP buddies at their own peril.
