Poll question: Bush is at 34% Today, what will it be tomorrow?
It was noted by Gretta this morning, on C-Span's Washington Journal, that Bush's approval had declined over the years and was currently at 34%. One wonders what it will be tomorrow ....

1. Probably about the same. He's become so irrelevant that hardly anyone
will watch the SOTU speech. The 30%ers will stick with him no matter what.

7. Suprised the hell out of me too, but I don't know which poll she was using
Probably some Republican bullshit poll. C-Span is bad about that - they do in fact tend to slightly bend their coverage to Republican benefit.

4. What? No negative numbers?

Oh, I guess you didn't mean *ACTUAL* but rather REPORTED. Eh, the media will probably give the jerk a big boost.

But we know better. ;)

5. There is no way that it's in the mid thirties.
just a month or so ago, his approval rating was high twenties, at best.

Nothing has happened that has been good for Bush, quite the contrary.

I'm thinking his real approval rating is about 25 percent. That's his core group of idiots. That's still a lot of people, sadly.

8. He'll get a prenostalgic bounce
from the mouthbreathing lunatics who think he's a war hero and a good christian leader of men.

9. he probably loves being at 34% just to prove more what a SOB

10. Usually should go up a notch or two after the SOTU speech.
Then it should go back down when reality hits everyone. It will probably go down again after the Democratic debate. Any one of our candidates is about a million times more articulate, interesting, charismatic, intelligent and honest than Bush, even with all the speechwriting talent the Republicans can muster backing Bush up.
