One Day = $720 Million
http://youtube.com/watch?v=Wnq6cD5jk1Q

Short but powerful video posted on You Tube by the American Friends Service Committee, pondering what else the money we are spending on IRAQ could buy.

(This was posted a couple of days ago in political videos, but I think it deserves a wider audience.)

1. Thanks Ms. Toad...
One Day of the Iraq War = 1,274,336 Homes with Renewable Energy

And, of course - One Day of the Iraq War = 100's of Deaths - U.S. and Iraqi; 1,000's of lives damaged.

Please go to Youtube, give "One Day" a high rating & put it in your list of favorites -- so it will get more attention on Youtube.

American Friends Service Committee - the folks who brought you Eyes Wide Open.

Please sign the AFSC petition to DEFUND the war and REFUND human needs at home and in Iraq.

2. Thank you for posting
this http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=385&topic_id=87932 - When I went looking to make sure I wasn't double posting I found your original post, and decided it wouldn't hurt to post it in GD, as well.

4. We spend roughly a billion a day to service the debt.
Never gets talked about. Wonder why...

Coincidentally, the $$$ for both ends up in many of the same pockets.
