Remember that illegal occupation? It was a year ago today that about
400,000 anti-war protesters descended on DC to let them know how we felt. Guess it didn't matter.

2. That's what they tried to tell us, but for those of us who were there,
we know better.

We had the Capitol surrounded, and this is what I saw coming down that hill, and they kept coming. It was amazing.

4.  I remember it well
It does not seem like a year to me and no , no one seemed to care just like all were ignored who protested across the world before bush and his band of madmen decided to attack Iraq .

All the effort and all the time and all the hope our grand leaders were listening and they were not .

Now all news about Iraq is way off on the back burner somewhere , who knew this would become the case .

Instead what we have is two years of debates and election focus , add the year leading up to 2006 and nothing has changed .

5. Really, not a thing has changed. It's hard to believe after voting
these Dems in and all the effort that took, all the people who partook of the demonstrations, and nothing has changed. I had vastly higher hopes. :-(

7.  It is sad , real sad , when I think of all the effort by
Cindy Sheehan , Code Pink , veterans against the war and so many others , all the gathering and bus renting and ride sharing . all these things with a giant dose of purpose and hope with inspiration and this was all shot down , all is forgotten . It was the people who defined the hope and built the inspiration and yet we were let down .

It was like this in the 60's however then we had one war , and none of the other countless issues we have now and it was the people who ended it finally .

6. More people than voted in New Hampshire, or Iowa, or Nevada caucuses/primaries ... but ...
... given 1/100th the attention. Interesting, huh?
