Not a snowball's chance in hell that this will go anywhere. But I got to say it anyway.

Government must act firmly to control an industry that destabilizes all our lives with its naked pursuit of huge profits.

1. Left to their own devises, without regulatory oversight,
the financial markets become nothing more than booking agents. They should not be bailed out with interest rate cuts. Does the mortgage holder get an interest rate cut when he finds out he can no longer afford the ARM he was talked into? No, and neither should theses con-men and ponzi scheming carpet baggers.
