I need some info on Fort Collins in Colorado
Why would a Texas tycoon living in Antigua introduce T20 cricket there?
I know he lost out big time with the overseas gambling laws.
The author of the article is already on his payroll.

1. I lived there for a long time.
It's a nice town, about 60 mi. north of Denver. Has a certain amount of tech industry there, though not as much as there used to be since HP's been endlessly downsizing and offshoring. Also the home of Colorado State University, my alma mater. It's a pretty decent place to live. Dunno why it's targetted for Cricket, though it sounds like a fun game.

3. The nearest place to gamble is Blackhawk/Central City
Blackhawk and Central City are two small mountain towns a little bit west of Denver that have legalized small-stakes gambling (Cripple Creek is another town that did this, further south, near Colorado Springs.) Lots of casinos, mostly slot machines, video poker, blackjack, some poker & such. I'm not sure about sports betting.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

6. hmm.... small stakes yes, it's limited gambling
Can bet no more than 5 dollars on a hand (in blackjack, can double down, etc).

Same for poker.. people max at 5 dollar per betting angle

12. Yeah, fairly purple.
There's a decent number of liberals, probably because of all the college students and faculty from CSU, but at the same time, there's a lot of conservatives as well.

5. Makes me want to move there...for as long as the tourney is running anyway...
...I LOVE cricket, and the shortest version of the game ticks off the purists, but it beats the hell out of anything else going on over here...
