'People's History' Film Project Draws Stars, Drama
http://www.npr.org:80/templates/story/story.php?storyId=18316974

Howard Zinn's book A People's History of the United States presents another side of history — telling the stories of those whose voices weren't heard in traditional history textbooks. Since it was first published in 1980, the book has grown in popularity.

Filming has begun for an adaptation called The People Speak, and Hollywood stars involved in the project include Josh Brolin, Viggo Mortensen, Marisa Tomei, David Straithairn and Danny Glover. Zinn himself will host the four-part miniseries. But the producers haven't found a home for the film, and not everyone is happy with Zinn's view of history.

I think they both actually took his course at Harvard. Damon is where I heard about it the first time.

OH-they were neighbors

8. Why would "the oligarchs" be happy with Zinn's view of history?
Oligarchs are happy you're informed that they're waging a Class War against you?

10. No need to look it up.
"oligo" from the greek root "few, or several" and "arch" meaning ruler.

Implying the few elite who control all the power.

I'm simply asking you to explain why oligarchs would like Zinn's book.

9. They are happy with him exposing their manipulation of the polity?
They are happy with him revealing what the TRUE history of the labor movement is?
