Who will be the host at the Academy Awards?

I find it odd that so little has been announced by the media so far regarding the biggest award show of the the year. Or maybe I've just missed it. I found out by accident that it will be Sunday eve..

I rarely ever miss the Oscars. Certainly, this year, it will be worth it to see Gore win(fingers crossed) I've always loved movies as well as the oldies. I dig how TCM (Turner Classics) has a month long celebration of Oscar winners and nominees of the past.

Anyway, I hope someone knows who will be the host.

Robertson also noted that the last time Degeneres hosted the Emmys, in 2001, the September 11 terrorism attacks took place shortly before the ceremony.
