Gawd is she smart. I'm so glad MSNBC hired her, officially, as an analyst. Hopefully, she'll soon get the chair currently being warmed by the Carlson boy.

17. agreed. She is well informed and doesn't get hysterical or do stupid stuff like bounce her boobies.
She should be taken seriously. I like her TONS more than KO or anyone else in a long time.

I'd love to see her interview someone...she could be the next Dick Cavet? Would love that. Or get her and Terry Gross to do a show. I miss good interviews.

6. Rachel would be so good in the Carlson spot.
A dead corpse would be an improvement over Carlson.

A how to show on removing lint from clothing would be better than Carlson.

(I think you get my point.)

Very pleased that Maddow is an official MSNBC personality now, I like her very much. (For her mind, not her body.)

Too bad these minds are housed in straight guy bodies...

16. She's incredibly bright & personable.
Last week on Air America she explained her degree from Oxford University. She said it's a D.Phil. which is the same thing as a Ph.D. in America, in Politics, since that's what they call it in England, instead of political science. So she's a paper doctor, which is why they make fun of it on the "Ask Dr. Maddow" segment, as if she was an M.D.

She is also a Rhodes Scholar, like Bill Bradley, Bill Clinton, Naomi Wolf, Wesley Clark, Kris Kristofferson, and Russ Feingold. She didn't mention that.

Me, I'd rather look at Keith for eye candy, but hey, to each their own!

21. Zowie: now I'm impressed all to bits. I knew she had a PhD but not all the rest.
No wonder she comes across as so bright and well-informed: she IS.

And yes, Rachel Maddow would be beyond excellent in Li'l Tucker's slot.

being completely adorable. The DARLING face, incredible sense of humor, and unbelievable mind. I hear her on the radio everyday and she's w/o question my absolute favorite.
