As the General Assembly debates global warming and the death penalty, Myers (R-Washington) has something else on his mind: the outsized plastic testicles that truckers dangle from the trailer hitches of their pickups.

19. actually, in my town there IS a great dane ball battle being waged

seems the parks & rec committee allocated funds for a bronze sculpture from a certain artist for a city park. by the time they got around to actually purchasing the sculpture that was approved, it was sold to someone else, so "someone" chose a substitute sculpture, a sculpture of a great dane laying on his back. it caused a bit of a commotion, but then we ARE the home of Focus on the Family.

The only kind of people who put these things on their trucks are people who tend to vote with the Republicans anyway. I can't think of a self respecting dem who would ever hang these on the back of their vehicle.
