A VERY spooky picture of the US Capitol with a smoke column next to it. From today!

The smoke is from a nearby tire store, where tires in the warehouse caught fire. But the image itself is spooky, to say the least. Since it is in Macromedia Flash, I can't seem to post it. The site and link are safe ..... it is the NBC affiliate in DC.

6. There are a few places in Alexandria

where I can stand and see the Capitol dome. I tried a close one last night, to see if I could see a glow in the sky. I could not. It was too cold to go to a better location.

9. That 'raw video' is what i say. The smoke was very thick and appeared .......

....... to be right next to the capitol.

It eerily put me in mind of Baghdad.
