EDWARDS WON ---- No Question about it. n/t
Edwards was helped the most by the Debate tonight.

The bickering between Hillary and Obama over personal matters allowed Edwards to address important issues in ways that elevated his standing.

Edwards definitely took a step up in S.C. tonight --and definitely won this Debate!

5. I agree wholeheartedly.....
I just do not understand why he isn't doing better. Well, actually I think I do understand somewhat - dems want so badly to "make history" with either the first black president or the first woman president. As far as I am concerned, "they aren't seeing the forest for the trees"!

NAILED it! If the stakes weren't so high this cycle, I could feel better about either "HISTORIC" candidate, but as it is....

Still don't, although media twists itself into knots trying to tell me otherwise.

17. They also said that the undecided dial focus group thought Edwards
won, but then most decided they would vote for Obama since they did not think Edwards had a chance (a self-fulfilling prophesy I am afraid).

18. Kelligesq - They are really really stupid...
They will vote because they think that Obama could win GE. Oh my DOG!!! :D

Even with Republican party all F**** up, Obama don´t have a chance against McCain. I watch American elections since 1980 and i never failed in my predictions. I hope i´m wrong this time.

The right wing and the media want OBAMA and i know why.

From Europe with love...

Stupid is too complimentary. I'll never understand why so many people vote against their own interests. :banghead:

16. I think Edwards won as well,
but without a primary win SOON he is in trouble. He's already being labeled as not being able to get the nomination.

22. I didn't hear any slumlord slur what was it about?
I thought Edwards did a good job tonight but I thought Obama needs to stop being so whinny. How could he ever act like a President. We hear what he says. We read it in print. Then in a few days he's saying he didn't say that.

23. Edwards DID Win... Most Of The Time He Does... But If I Had To Place
a bet... he will get very little recognition two days from now. This has been the pattern from DAY ONE! The message was sent out a long time ago, by whoever the Powers are, that John Edwards IS NOT to be allowed to become POTUS!!

I myself will vote for him, no matter what all the way through! NOBODY ELSE! But I do want to issue a warning here. Democrats in Congress are doing SQUAT... Clinton & Obama are mucking up quite well, and it doesn't bode well... so there is a possibility that EVEN IF Democrats win POTUS, Congress may NOT be as successful, OR vice versa!

Change may not actually happen and most of you will be here this time next year wondering.... what happened. Edwards in my mind is clearly the best candidate, has the most populist message and has been first out of the gate on almost everything. He's intelligent, well spoken, knows the issues and has a HEART that beats for this country AMERICA!

As I said, he has my support now matter what, but realistically I have had to prepare myself for what the writing on the wall says. Once again, too many Americans will go to vote (and many votes won't be counted) but the election is and has been guided by MSM who got the message to do what they were told to do. I know it's difficult for people to admit TRUTH even when they got smacked in the face with it, but there has been a concerted effort to make sure John Edwards makes enough noise, but only enough noise to bounce our other two candidates around to make it interesting.

As I've said before, after this time if it turns out like I feel in my bones it will, I'm DONE! Not going to do this anymore. IT LITERALLY SUCKS, and coming from one who has been fiercely political for most of my life, thinking of my kids and grandkids and my obligation to teach them about Democracy and how it works, I can't lie! I won't lie and I'm turning out my lights. My family is astounded by what I'm saying because they know of my passion, but my truth is that we are living a LIE!

Cynical? Damn right! Did I want it this way? F--k No! but talking and yakking does nothing for me anymore. It's only talking and yakking... and our GOVERNMENT isn't listening. I've gotten over my depression about this and it's better for my health anyway.

America buys what sells, and APATHY prevails! Truth to Power is a MYTH!

If people want change... stop gobbling up what you are being fed, get up and REVOLT! A novel idea from times gone by... but it did seem to make some difference in the past! I'm old school, a Boomer so what the hell do I know about it anymore? Exit stage LEFT.. always!
