Edwards will have NO permanent troops in Iraq and take 1 yr to end it there. Obama will not give a
time when he'll have everyone out of Iraq, but that the money we're spending in Iraq we could use to lay broadband cable lines in South Carolina and schools in America. Ahem!

Hillary says that she doesn't know if she'll take longer than 1 year, but she doesn't really want permanent bases in Iraq.

1. Will Edwards close our embassy?
I thought Marines typically protect those, but what would Edwards do without a permanent contingent assigned?

12. "No troops" doesn't mean "no embassy security"
If it did, then we'd have "troops" stationed in places like Finland and Nepal, which for all intents and purposes, we don't.

13. U.S. Army troops are stationed in 120 countries around the world
I wouldn't doubt some are in both Finland and Nepal.

3. I don't trust any of them. Edwards and Clinton BOTH voted for the IWR
Obama didn't have the opportunity.

Frankly, anyone who didn't see that the IWR over-rode the War Powers Act, and took Congressional oversight of the Iraq war over the executive branch cannot be trusted

After 6 years of most of the Congressional Democrats rolling over and giving bush exactly what he wanted, the party deserves exactly what it gets

ONLY one Senator voted AGAINST the patriot act, and that was Russ Feingold

He has more integrity in his little finger then the "POLITICIANS" on that stage

7. At least he said we should not go into Iraq before we did.
I am not watching the debates, but it sounds like a circus

Wish you could watch them.

For 6 years, the leading candidates, bent over backwards to give bush everything he asked for. They haven't EARNED MY VOTE

11. He gave an estimate -
of how many troops a month and a starting point - he said that the number of troops in Jan 2009 was not known because it depends on whether Bush pulls down to pre-surge level. He also said no permanent bases.
