Double take time.
Full Darth Cheney interview here.Q Is it getting harder for them, though? You see the latest spate of helicopter downings, the military says this seems to be a new strategy to take down helicopters. We've seen the use apparently of chemical bombs now in the last week in Iraq. Is it getting harder?
THE VICE PRESIDENT: It's just the terrorists doing what terrorists always do, adjusting and adapting their strategies. We can do the same obviously, adjust and adapt. The chemical weapons they're using aren't very sophisticated at this point. What they've done is apparently put some tanks with chlorine in them together with conventional explosives, but we have to adapt and adjust as we go forward. But we can do that.
OK.
I see.
I get it.
Kind of sounds like they have gotten more sophisticated in the past few years. Much more so, than they were when you had zero-zip-zilch-nada chemical weapons 4 years ago, and used it as your excuse to invade anyway. Sort of how since the occupation, Iraq has turned into the newest hotbed of terrorist training camps.
Remember "Smoking gun in the form of a mushroom cloud"? Referring to weather balloons and beat up RV's as "mobile weapons labs"? Finding centrifuge pieces in rose gardens? Oops, almost forgot the famous "they just moved all of them to Syria." All were baseless lies. Hell, even Bush's own stooge weapons inspector couldn't find enough to spin into any evidence what so ever.
I know, the WMD-Saadam is gonna nuke ya-babies torn from incubators meme has gotten ripped to shreds a bit in last, oh, 4 years or so, but imagine what the corporate media would have been screaming if it was Saddam Hussein's army that was sticking explosives to a chlorine tank? Hell it might even be enough to make them interrupt their Anna Nichole Smith circle jerk for five minutes.
