Shuddup about "Change". I want "Restoration"!
Restoration of our rights & liberties under the Constitution.

Restoration of our Peace Dividend and balanced budget.

Anything you'd like to see restored?

7. Restoration of FDR's platform that benefitted the middle class
Reagan undid FDR's reforms. Reagan began the restoration of the gap between the haves and the have nots that existed before FDR.

9. The progressive income tax
Our national infrastructure, including one maintaining the health of the people.

The rule of law.

Change is also needed. We need to change the makeup of the USSC. Scalia and Thomas are especially vulnerable to impeachment and we should do so ASAP. We're stuck with Alito and Roberts until they demonstrate even the appearance of conflict of interest, something that is inevitable for GOPs.

We need to change that revolving door between government and lobbying. Nail it shut. Make it a constitutional amendment so that a meddlesome conservative court can't undo it in the future.

We need to change the mission of the Pentagon from one of hired muscle for multinational corporations meddling in foreign governments to one of defense of the US, only. The cost savings would undoubtedly provide health insurance for all of us without a huge increase in taxes.

14. Restore the Fairness Doctrine - restore FCC regulations to the pre-Reagan era
when the media wasn't allowed to concentrate decision-making as to what we see as news all over this country in the hands of just a few powerful corporate executives.

Where restoration and preservation are done by conservatives, and radically changing the very mission, constitution, fabric and economics of this country are done by radical extremists. This I would like very much, just a small thing.

21. many things we once had
Public transportation; adequately funded public education universally available and equal access and quality for all; protections for union organizers and workers' rights; regulation of the essential public resources for the protection of the public - power, water, air, food; fair progressive taxation that doesn't coddle the wealthy and powerful few and crush the poor; our agricultural infrastructure to protect and assist small farmers rather than promote and protect corporate monopolies over our food production; clean and honest elections; return of the public airwaves to the public; an economy that supports the people rather than an economy that forces all of us to adapt to it; protection, respect, dignity, job security and living wages for those who dedicate their lives to something other than pursuing the almighty dollar, rather than forcing them to "sell" themselves on the "free market": nurses, eldercare workers, teachers, musicians, writers, EMS workers, artists, small farmers, to name but a few; a foreign policy that protects and defends human rights, rather than corporate interests.

We don't need any more "change."

We have had decades of radical and profound change that has relentlessly and almost completely destroyed our communities, our democracy, our economy, and our government.

We don't need "hope" for the sake of hope. There is nothing wrong with us for feeling hopeless, the problem is that there is nothing to hope for if we are not going to fight for the restoration of our country.
