Another big surprise. He doesn't even realize that he is the problem, he is such a moran.

These graphs are 5 minutes behind, so if you refresh your screen, you can watch the free fall.

11. Yeah, good plan, right
So Chimpy's idea of a stimulus package is to give some tax payers a small rebate check so they will go spend it. If you are real poor don't think you will be getting anything. Even if it works that sounds real temporary. With the way the economy is looking I would be more likely to keep it or payoff some on my credit cards which is paying for past purchases. With all the debt both credit and mortgage is it possible that people are not spending because they can't afford to and even a small check won't change that. Hell with the price of gas most people will use up that money just filling up their car(s). Is this just Bushes way of fending off bad economic times until he is out of office so he can claim that the possible bad economy did not happen on his watch. I am no economist but I would think the strongest way to help the economy would be to get people working in jobs that pay a decent wage not just giving them a one time feel good rebate.

16. Yes. We need jobs and we need to stop the 'trickle up' of profit
to CEO's and shareholders. "They" forget that it's the average worker who's working harder and longer if they still have a job to make the profits possible.

I think this idea of a rebate check is a bandaid that will help for maybe a week. imho

17. You'd pay off your credit cards? BINGO!
Experts are saying the credit card industry is about to go the way of the mortgage industry. Bushie knows a lot of people will do just what you say, pay off credit cards (which they should do anyway). So in effect, this will be indirect aid to the credit card companies.

18. rebates and other "quick fixes" is like
having a group of paramedics with defibrullators, following the economy around and "zapping it" when it falters and ignoring the fact what is needed is a pacemaker (but the insurance companies won't cover that operation.)

Way to go George.

Maybe the big shot in the arm the economy needs is his resignation.
