2. yeah - look what happened to Reagan after we declined to impeach him!
he's been deified by the RW and the media since he left office, when he should have a lower ring in hell than Nixon.

3. Nixon, at least
created EPA
passed and signed SALT (nuke reductions with the USSR)
fixed Social Security funding
increased spending on vets
increased funding on mass transit
and
took the major steps to get us out of viet nam. (After bombing cambodia, Hanoi and other areas)

Can you imagine any DEMOCRAT in leadership even coming close to this? Pelosi? Reid? HAH!

4. non-sequiter
How does the "prism of history" hold the current occupants accountable or prevent another abominable administration in the future?

We'll remember that when you take your next oath to protect and defend the "prism of history".

5. "The prism of history"! What a catchy phrase, and what balm for the souls...
...of those who have lost loved ones in an illegal war -- those who are watching the death of our democracy.

If the Founders had known about the prism of history, they might have opted out of the Revolutionary War, and the drafting of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights!

6. Reyes has a primary challenger down in TX-16...
His name is Jorge Artalejo. No web site yet, but I hear he's a substitute teacher.
