Gen discussion versus Gen discussion politics
If I remember correctly GD - politics was set up during the Kerry/Dean days to allow those who didn't want to read the endless "tweedledee is better than tweedledum" posts.

Could this be reinstituted and any post stumping for or criticising a candidate goes in GD-politics.

As someone who finds the primaries a waste of time and an inordinate waste of money sifting through the mindless obama/clintion/edwards bile is a pain in the arse.

I guess I could have grabbed the wrong end of the stick but if this wasn't the purpose of GD-P any chance we could make it so?
