Alcoholism is a disease that not only incapacitates, but kills. It destroys families. As he said, we have no idea if Ms. Spears is an alcoholic. Whatever's going on with her, though, I hope she'll get help. She has two small children depending on her. They need her.

12. I have a new respect for this man after watching

his clip. I'm neutral about Britney, but as a mother myself I have been anxious about what has been going on and was relieved when her mother entered the picture (taking her to rehab). It's tragic and ought not to be made fun of, whether you like her or not.

13. what I found significant

is that Craig had the fortitude to say something that all of us know to the be the good thing to do and that is to not make fun of or out of people's personal disasters. Just because you can report it, just because it is sensational, just because it can be made to be funny, does not mean that you have to. Go after the blowhards, and pompous, and self-righteous. I very much appreciated this segment thanks.
