Bush urges Saudi's: "Turn on them f*#@ing spigots!"
"We's gonna need that extra oil after I Shocks n' Awes Iran!" (OK, so he didn't really say that. Or maybe he did.)

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia - President Bush urged OPEC nations on Tuesday to put more oil on the world market and warned that soaring prices could cause an economic slowdown in the United States.

“High energy prices can damage consuming economies,” the president told a small group of reporters traveling with him in the Mideast.

“It’s affected our families. Paying more for gasoline hurts some of the American families, and I’ll make that clear to him,” said Bush, heading into more talks with Saudi King Abdullah. Shortly after Bush spoke, the Saudi oil minister said the kingdom, responsible for almost one-third of the cartel’s total output, would raise oil production when the market justified it.

In a stern warning to Iran days after a Jan. 6 confrontation with U.S. warships in the Persian Gulf, Bush put Tehran on notice that it needs to be careful. The president said it would not matter to him whether an attack against an American vessel resulted from an order by the government in Iran or a rash decision by an Iranian boat captain.

2. We traded those new weapons for oil we have already burned.
That military hardware is all we have to pay off debt with, our paper money has no value anymore.

This would not be so bad if we were giving up warcraft for oil we would use productively in the future, but that is not the case. What we are doing is paying now for oil we have already squandered.

3. After his statement, Bush snickered
"Just kiddin'. I don't give a flying fuck about the consumers. Me and my buddies are raking in the dough! Mission accomplished!"

6. is this the jawboning he was talking about in 1999?
7 years late and hundreds of billion dollars later.
But of course its a show.

Here I have a rough draft of the script I found on one of the internets...

Public news conference Saudi Arabia.

W Hey Kingy can you please turn up the spigots, we need more oil.

KF Of course George, you are like family, all you had to do is ask, take my hand, lets take a walk.

Fade to black.

Later that night.

W Thanks Kingy. I owe you one.

KF Dont worry about it Georgie I know you need all the PR help you can get besides this oil market is so wonderful and I really owe You and Dick for that.

Fin.

9. Isn't this what he said he would do in 2000
to offset the disastrously high gas prices that took place during the Clinton Admin? IIRC gas had soared to $1.80/gal or so for awhile.

11. They really shouldn't have let him out to finally see the world.

He is like a family's crazy uncle who finally escapes from the attic and
creates hell everywhere he goes before he is finally captured and returned
to his nest in the attic.

Yesterday he was extolling the virtues of democracy to the Saudis who have
no concept of it, all the while being oblivious to how much of democracy
he has destroyed at home.

Someone should get a big net and a tranquilizer gun and take him away
before he embarrasses himself and the country any further.
