I get to vote for Dennis Kucinich tomorrow! YAY!!
i know, i know, i'm in michigan and it's not going to make any difference in any way whatsoever. still, i'm glad i get to cast my primary vote for the candidate i really support. it's kinda cool :-) (and a ***BONUS*** there was actually a Kucinich ad run while i was watching Keith tonight.) after tomorrow, i can proceed to the GE in a state of calmness and peace of mind.

i read the pleas for crossover votes to mittens. my thought process on that was along the lines of, yeah, sure, i'm going to get the republican ballot *shudder* and go into the booth. i'll start to fill in the little circle next to 'Romney', and i'll start gagging. i'll try to force myself, and as i puke all over the floor of the voting booth, i'll hear the poll workers murmuring, "oh great! another crossover voter."

regarding the support for the republics in my rural town - the most signs i have seen are for ron paul (no surprise if you know the history of livingston county), i have seen 2 signs and a few bumper stickers for mittens. i have seen no mccain support at all, although according to the local rag "Walking into a packed crowd chanting "Mac is back," Republican presidential candidate Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., received a very warm welcome when he stopped in Livingston County Sunday afternoon for a town hall meeting."

no dem signs at all except for one very large VOTE UNCOMMITTED.

1. K&R for Dennis!!
For a REAL primary season. For a decision made by the PEOPLE and not the corporations. For debates on the ISSUES, not DLC talking points.

Kucinich for Michigan!!

3. He actually took out a cable ad - I just saw it during KO's Countdown.
He's got my (made meaningless) vote.

The GOP infestation is nauseating ... we're in the sewer.

6. i know - meaningless :-(
but i'm happy that i get to vote for the candidate i would most like to be president, that no one can take me to task for it for any reason whatsoever, that i will never look back and wonder if i should have cast a different vote.

plus, i feel good that i get to let dennis know, via my vote, that i support him and his vision of america.

7. Wonderful and another great reason to hold your head high...
you are voting to hold these criminals accountable. That's a rather damn good reason IMO.

http://www.truthout.org/cgi-bin/artman/exec/view.cgi/48/18010

"...He answered the question in early January, on the phone from Detroit during the congressional winter recess.

"To take away the excuse," he said, "that we didn't know." So that two or four or ten years from now, if somebody should ask, "Where were you, Conyers, and where was the United States Congress?" when the Bush Administration declared the Constitution inoperative and revoked the license of parliamentary government, none of the company now present can plead ignorance or temporary insanity, can say that "somehow it escaped our notice" that the President was setting himself up as a supreme leader exempt from the rule of law..."

9. He has got my meaningless vote too
I think I'm finally at peace with the MI fiasco. My vote doesn't matter, but since I am voting for the Kooch man, my vote would not have mattered anyway. GO DENNIS!

20. 4%er in the house
It looks like people vote the same when it doesn't make a difference as when it does. I was hoping that for once Dennis could make a decent showing.
