Poll question: Justice in 2009?
I've written off any high-level indictments as long as this set of scoundrels remain in the White House. What's the likelihood of seeing some justice in 2009?

Bush
Cheney
Rove
Other assorted neocons
Halliburton
Telecoms
Blackwater
etc etc etc

The list is sooooooo long, let's do it by percentage of justice served - or at least started in 2009...

1. Hillary and Obama have both made noises...

About "healing"... that's the codeword for looking the other direction and not prosecuting the criminals who now hold office.

I say, this nation's wounds cannot heal until the scabby pustules and dead matter and other contaminated tissue has been properly debride!!!

4. Yup. That's my feeling, too.
At this point, I don't think we have any measurable chance at all.

3. I'm willing to be pleasantly surprised.
And if anything is done, it will be more than my expected zero.

6. Where's the hope now?
We're screwn... ignoring the criminals gives the next batch of criminals carte blanch to stick it to us again.

7. All will be pardoned. And Bush will never be indicted.

Get used to it. They got away with it.

This could be a one time scam if we neuter corporations.

Only one electable candidate will go after corporations.

Edwards.

16. On the brightside. Bush's SS protection expires in 2019.
Then the whole country can go to Crawford to have a heart to heart talk with him. :spank:

8. I fully expect to see a Reagan-style lack of accountability all around
Edited on Fri Jan-11-08 08:12 PM by jpgray
Which is horrible but likely. My fondest hope is that at least those convicted in this administration don't make it into future administrations, as did Abrams, etc.

9. None of the top three candidates want to hold them accountable,
our children and grandchildren will be dealing with the next generation of criminals.

14. My hope is that they will hold them accountable -
they just can't say it publicly.
